The greatest planetary operational military organization ever known in the empire, the Royal Army is the official land army of the empire. Operating in sea, land and air, the RA is a massive organisation, with more than 100 billion components. Its homeworld is the world of Magnum, located in the home system. The Holy Navy greatly depends of the RA, since the navy would not be able to secure land surfaces of planets. The Magistrate of the RA, Marcus Aurelianus, is the current leader of the RA.
