The Adeptus Astronomica is one of the two most important departments in the empire. It controls all matters related to space navigation, trade, navy and other matters that are take place in the space. The department is divided in many other sub-departments. The Adeptus Astronomica is leaded by Igneal Maximus, who governs from the world of Nuln, where the main astronomican beacon is located. The astronomican beacon is responsible to avoid warp storms in the empire and to make hyperspeed travel safe.
The Adeptus Astronomica is the most important political player in the council of high lords.
