Baneblade Heavy Tank

Picture
Massively armed, the standard Baneblade complement includes a turret-mounted Mega Battle Cannon with a coaxial Autocannon, three twin-linked Heavy Bolters (one sponson-mounted on either side, and one turret mounted on the front hull slope), two turret mounted Lascannons on either side, directly above the side sponsons, and lastly, a fixed-forward hull-mounted Demolisher cannon. This totals eleven weapon barrels of various sizes and roles, giving full coverage in all arcs. The Baneblade can be further given a pintle mounted weapon and hunter seeker missiles, bringing the total up to 13 (although they only count as 11 weapons).

Chimera Light Tank

Picture
The Chimera is the standard armoured personnel carrier of the Imperial Guard and its chassis is the basis for a large number of other Imperial armoured vehicles. It can carry a variety of heavy weapons in its gun turret, such as a Heavy Bolter, an Autocannon or a Heavy Flamer, although the Multi-Laser is the most common weapon. The Chimera also mounts a hull-mounted Heavy Bolter or Heavy Flamer and 6 hull-mounted Lasguns on the vehicle's sides which can be fired from the passenger compartment, making it akin to a present-day infantry fighting vehicle. It can carry up to 12 Guardsmen or 6 Ogryns. The Chimera also has amphibious capabilities, allowing it to take part in naval amphibious assaults or overcome watery obstacles like swamps and rivers

Leman Russ MBT

Picture
The Leman Russ Tank is the main battle tank of the Empire. Each Leman Russ tank is armed with a large main battle cannon, a hull-mounted lascannon, heavy flamer or heavy bolter and optional sponson-mounted heavy weapons. With strong front armour, it is designed to initially bombard large formations and then assault the weakened enemy defenses, weapons firing. It is the most commonly found vehicle in the Guard, and is the base of design for many tank variants. Far from a sophisticated vehicle, the Leman Russ was designed and built with reliability and versatility in mind. It can survive the worst the galaxy can throw at it, and can run on almost any fuel. Though slow, its frontal armour is strong enough to withstand the multitude of weaponry wielded by the enemies of the Imperium. Its side and rear armour are thinner however, to reduce the strain on the engines. This does make it vulnerable to assault from these angles, requiring support infantry, other battle tanks or very careful operation to protect the vehicle.

Pitbull Light armored vehicle

Picture
The pitbull is a lightly armored ecort vehicle. Is very fast and the main weapon system can be exchanged, to be much more versatile. The Pitbull's armor can't hold heavy ammunitions, but it can launch deadly attacks with its mounted gun, that can be missile launchers, emp cannons, ion cannons, auto cannons and a standard machine gun.

Conqueror MBT

Picture
One of the less common Leman Russ variants, the Conqueror is only produced in any significant quantities on Gryphonne IV, where the plans were originally discovered. Armed with the Conqueror Cannon, as opposed to the standard Battle Cannon, the Conqueror sacrifices outright destructive power in exchange for improved mobility and accuracy while firing on the move.

Conquerors come standard with co-axial mounted storm bolters and searchlights, removing the need to expose a crew member to fend off enemy infantry. The back of the turret houses an armoured ammunition access hatch, making re-arming the tank quick and easy. This hatch is also used to dispose of spent Conqueror shells.

Salamander Scout Tank

Picture
The Salamander, also called a Salamander Scout, is a small, armoured reconnaissance vehicle used by the Royal Army and based on the Chimera chassis. It is designed primarily for reconnaissance duties and is lightly armed and armoured but moves very rapidly. For mutual protection, Salamander Scouts often operate in tandem, teaming up to provide extra support. One vehicle will provide cover for the other as it moves forward, with each taking turns leading the way. Salamanders are often the vehicles at the very front of an Imperial Guard advance and so are often ambushed or encounter an unexpectedly strong enemy position or unit. When an Imperial Guard Regiment is on the defensive the Salamanders are often relegated to a rear area for security duties. Like Sentinels, it is not unusual to find Salamanders guarding supply dumps, headquarters units or patrolling supply routes.
